Manchmal ist alles ganz anders als es scheint.
Wenn Tatsachen aus einer anderen Perspektive betrachtet werden, sehen sie häufig ganz anders aus.
…und eine Diagnose ist nur eine Momentaufnahme, die veränderlich ist und manchmal einfach nicht passend ist.
Ein Mann sucht meine Hilfe, weil er süchtig ist.
Es sind mehrere Süchte, die ihn plagen.
Er spielt täglich mehrere Stunden an seinem Computer, vergisst seine Pflichten und raucht dabei viele Zigaretten.
Er trinkt häufig zu viel Alkohol und hat deshalb seinen Arbeitsplatz verloren.
„Ohne Bier kann ich überhaupt nicht mehr schlafen“, sagt er bei unserem ersten Gespräch.
Entspannung hilft wirklich immer.
…und deshalb biete ich ihm zunächst einmal die tiefe Entspannung auf der Alpha-Ebene an.
Anschließend fühlt Günther (Name verändert) sich besser.
Er konnte sich ausruhen und sich selber spüren und hat jetzt Lust mit mir zu reden.
Günther erzählt, dass das Spiel des Lebens nicht fair zu ihm war.
Er beginnt bei seinem wütenden Vater, der ihn nur bemerken und wahrnehmen wollte, wenn Günther sich „daneben“ benahm. Das kam leider sehr oft vor und deshalb musste der kleine Günther viel Wut, Kritik und auch Hiebe einstecken. Günthers Mutter sah einfach weg, weil sie selbst vor der Wut von Günthers Vater große Angst hatte.
Gleich nach der Schule wurde ein Mädchen von ihm schwanger und er wollte mit ihr eine eigene Familie gründen. Das Kind ist heute neun Jahre alt und vor knapp sieben Jahren hat er sich von der Mutter des Kindes getrennt. Günther erzählt von Druck und permanenten Geldsorgen – und von Wut, die sich in ihm aufstaute und immer wieder in Streit entladen wurde.
Eine Berufsausbildung hat Günther nicht gemacht.
Er wollte lieber Geld verdienen und bekam eine Chance bei einem Freund seines Vaters als Verkäufer. Als er wegen dem Trinken seinen Arbeitsplatz verlor, riss der Kontakt zu seinen Eltern endgültig ab.
Pech gehabt? Hopfen und Malz verloren?
Sicher nicht.
Den Start kann sich im Spiel des Lebens niemand sich auswählen.
Auch Fairness gibt es nicht immer in diesem Spiel.
Aber:
Das Spiel des Lebens lässt sich verändern, wenn der Spieler eine bewusste Entscheidung trifft.
Sucht bedeutet Flucht.
Günther steckt mitten in einem Burnout-Syndrom.
Er fühlt sich gestresst und ohnmächtig die Belastungen seines Alltags zu bewältigen.
Er leidet häufig an Spannungskopfschmerz, Rückenschmerzen und Kreislaufstörungen.
Er leidet darunter, dass er es nicht „geschafft“ hat und seinem Vater nicht zeigen konnte, was für ein toller Kerl in ihm steckt.
Deshalb zerstört er seine Gesundheit mit dem Missbrauch von Genussmitteln.
Sein Suchtverhalten sehe ich zudem als Flucht (Kompensation), um sich von dem (aus seinem Blickwinkel traurigen) Spiel seines Lebens ablenken zu können.
Nach meiner Auffassung hat jeder Mensch nur zwei Möglichkeiten.
Er kann sich seinen Herausforderungen stellen und versuchen sie zu lösen – oder sich davon ablenken und Probleme verdrängen.
Die tiefe Entspannung hilft Günther dabei, sich selbst besser spüren zu können und dadurch fühlt er sich auch insgesamt besser.
Günther kann dadurch verstehen, dass er mit eigenen Entscheidungen Einfluss auf das Spiel seines Lebens nehmen kann.
Jede bewusste Entscheidung, die Günther näher zu sich selbst und weg von den Suchtmitteln bringt, ist positiv.
Ist Günther dadurch geheilt?
Vermutlich wird sein Weg noch eine Weile schwierig bleiben.
Möglicherweise wird es Strecken mit schönen Geraden geben. Aber auch Steigungen oder enge Kurven kommen im Spiel des Lebens vor. Ebenso Rückschritte und Stolpersteine sind auf dem Weg möglich und wahrscheinlich kann es auch mal einen Umweg oder eine Runde aussetzen für Günther geben.
Das Spiel des Lebens bietet immer Raum für Überraschungen oder Ereignisse und auch mal für ganz langweilige Phasen.
Das Ziel wird von allen Mitspielern garantiert erreicht.
…und wie jeder Mensch hat auch Günther das Recht eigene Entscheidungen zu treffen.
Die tiefe Entspannung hilft ihm dabei.
